Today we left the house and headed to the port at 8:15am (for the forth time) with the hopes of leaving the port with our container on a truck. After hours of waiting we were finally given the "green light" and returned home at 6:00pm with the truck following not too far behind.
Having our stuff get spread all over a loading dock by a team of guys with box cutters was very unnerving. Our first inspection was by the agricultural commission, who wanted to see many of our items that contained wood. It was all business until they found a cutting board with a "made in Chile" label and the price tag still attached. They though it was funny that we bought it in the States and a had it shipped back. The representative for customs was ready to tear into our boxes until he found out we had five kids, then just said; "No problem" and approved us. Awesome!
Praise the Lord! It's 1:00am here and this has been one long stressful, yet joyful day. Thank you so much for praying for the arrival of our container.
